Even though I'm not getting married anytime soon, I am in love with the images you can find at StyleMePretty-The Ultimate Wedding Blog. Their motto is that the key to a gorgeous wedding is all in the details! These people are so creative with their decorating ideas and the photography featured on the site is pretty fantastic. If you're in the mood for inspiration be sure to check it out!
The Uniform Project is a year long fundraiser for the Akansha Foundation, documented by blogger Sheena Matheiken. Wearing the same black dress everyday for a year (like a school uniform), Sheena posts all of her different styling combinations. She's on Day 47 and it barely looks like she's even wearing the same dress every day! Her creativity is amazing!
After several trips to the World Market, I finally got the right combination of paper lanterns to hang together. (This is their temporary home before the apartment) It's kind of like having a bunch of big, white balloons over my bed...Lovely.
So a couple of months ago I signed up for this online program called She Speaks, a website that reviews everything from skin care to movies. Once you sign up you fill out a profile about your likes/dislikes and then you're asked to write reviews for products. The best part is they give you FREE stuff to try out and write a review about. I now receive Fitness magazine every month and just a few weeks ago I was asked to try out Bliss Best Of Skintentions SPF Moisturizer. I don't get it for a few more weeks but I'm excited! $35 value..totally FREE!
I'm loving the Recycled Coffee bags at The Wren on Etsy. If you haven't checked out Etsy yet, you must! Immediately! It's a place to buy (and sell) all things handmade from around the world. I got a similar bag for Christmas and not only is it fabulous, durable, and coffee- related but it's one of a kind and came from South Africa! I even saved my package because of the all the cute little stamps on it. There's just something about buying handmade...You feel like you've found a hidden treasure!
A few weeks ago I experienced my first Anthropologie store and it was even better than I expected! Of all the things there, I found myself drawn to the random assortment of eclectic dishes. Who needs all of their dishes to match anyway? You can be very sure that some of these dishes will find their way into my apartment next year. Especially that adorable peacock plate!
Sigh...whimsical, magical, breathtaking. I've always been fascinated with balloons. They bring you back to that childlike state where you believed you could grab a bunch of balloons and float off to a magical world. Or was that just me? I'm LOVING this Miss Dior Cherie Ad...
