Ladies and Gents, I am officially a bike owner. My bike is a dark brown with old fashioned handlebars and is a breeze to ride-----on completely flat roads. Yes its a bit of a hassle and I may or may not have had a complete wipeout when trying to turn a corner. I'm pretty much a baby biker but I will prevail!

I miss you buddy

I don't have a bits of my week for you this week. I'm sure I had plenty of good photo opportunities but my mind was too occupied with this little dude. I had a great 7 years with you Charlie.

Painter Lily Stockman blogs about her studio, food, and life in the desert in Cali. I've never been a desert type girl(even watching dusty movies makes me want to put on lotion) but her blog makes it seem so relaxing and adventurous at the same time. She has an amazing sense of humor and beautiful pictures that don't scream "I'm trying to be a super artsy photographer!" Ya know what I'm saying? Check it.

Daydreaming...

I've been doing a lot of daydreaming lately. Maybe I have a little spring fever. But daydreams tend to look a lot like Chrissie White's photography. I'm pretty sure she's around age 16. Crazy.

Bits of My Week

So maybe I can make up for the fact that I haven't been in the blogosophere because I've been trying to get good pictures for Bits of My Week. This week included pretty coffee and a lovely coffeehouse, two dinners at the Hill, puppy losing his first tooth, and a crazy-wack art project.

Similar to the Sartorialist, Facehunter is a street style blog based around London.

Lets just talk about two things-I want that hat wrap dealio in the top left photo and bottom right girl is so hardcore.

Raw Beauty

Love the rawness of this Sapphire ring from onestonenewyork. This type of handmade jewelry is really starting to interest me more than perfectly cut Kay Jewelers and such. Anyone feel me on this?

Bits of My Week

Cooking with the beautiful Mandi Gummels-my first attempt at a vegetarian dish and red velvet cupcakes. Also a fun time with the boy at a Wood Fired Pizza joint.

Dress Crazy

After seeing Alice in Wonderland (amazing!) and with the smell of spring in the air I am really wanting some pretty dresses. Here's some of my favorites from Modcloth.

P.S. I had a real hard time picking just four. They have an amazingly extensive selection of dresses.

Knitting, lots of fresh cooking, a new dress, and a fun trivia night that included wearing fire fighter hats for a little while-we're real tough fire fighters.
